To help prevent failed payments and service interruptions, Snowtech Services may send notifications when a stored credit card is approaching its expiry date.

These notifications are designed to remind you to review and update your payment details before your card expires.

Why Am I Receiving This Notification?

Your account contains a stored payment method that is approaching its expiry date.

If the card expires and is not updated, future automatic payment attempts may fail, potentially resulting in unpaid invoices and service interruptions.

What Should I Do?

If you receive a credit card expiry notification, we recommend:

  1. Log in to the Snowtech Services Client Area.
  2. Navigate to Billing > Payment Methods.
  3. Review your stored payment methods.
  4. Update the card details if a replacement card has been issued.
  5. Confirm that your preferred payment method is set as the default.

My Bank Has Issued a Replacement Card

Many banks automatically replace cards that are approaching expiry.

Even if the card number remains the same, the expiry date and security code may have changed.

You should review your stored payment details to ensure they remain current.

What Happens If My Card Expires?

If an expired card remains on your account:

  • Automatic payments may fail.
  • Invoices may remain unpaid.
  • Reminder notices may be issued.
  • Services or domains may be affected if invoices remain outstanding.

Using Multiple Payment Methods

If you have multiple payment methods stored on your account, ensure that at least one valid payment method is set as the default.

You can manage your payment methods via:

Billing > Payment Methods

Tip: Updating your payment details as soon as you receive a replacement card can help avoid failed payments and unnecessary billing reminders.

PayPal Subscriptions

If your services are paid via an active PayPal Subscription, credit card expiry notifications may not apply in the same way, as payment processing is managed by PayPal.

If your funding source has changed or expired, please review your payment settings directly within your PayPal account.
