Domain Connectivity
Your domain, connected
DNS connects your domain name to the services your customers use. It directs website visitors to your hosting and tells other mail servers where to deliver your email.
Snowtech's hosting DNS is managed through a cPanel DNS cluster. Our three nameservers are hosted in three geographically different locations, adding geographic separation to the DNS service used by our hosting customers.

Need Help?
Network questions, answered
A few useful details about hosting, DNS and content delivery.
What is the difference between hosting and a CDN?
Your hosting service stores your original website and runs its application. A CDN caches eligible content at edge locations and delivers those copies to visitors. It complements your hosting service.
How is your hosting DNS organised?
Our hosting DNS uses a cPanel DNS cluster with three nameservers: ns0.snowtech.com.au, ns1.snowtech.com.au and ns2.snowtech.com.au. Each nameserver is in a different geographic location. Your website and email use the destinations configured in your DNS records.
Which nameservers should I use?
Use the nameservers provided for your specific service. If you are unsure, check your service details or contact support before making changes, especially if your email is hosted elsewhere.
Does a speed test show how fast my website will load?
A speed test measures connection performance to a test server. Website loading also depends on the application, page size, caching, hosting resources and the visitor's connection.
Where will my hosting or VPS be located?
Our main hosting is based in Melbourne. VPS services are mainly hosted in Melbourne or Brisbane. Our server infrastructure includes 5GN on Collins Street in Melbourne and NEXTDC B1 and B2 in Brisbane. Contact us before ordering if you need a particular location.
Where can I check service notices?
Visit our Network Status page. If you need help with your own service, open the Client Area and include the affected domain, error message and when the issue occurred.
