Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides additional security for your Snowtech Services Client Area account. If you lose access to your authenticator device, there are several options available to regain access to your account.

Option 1 - Use Your Backup Code

When Two-Factor Authentication was enabled, you were provided with a backup code or recovery information.

If you have retained this information:

  1. Navigate to the Client Area login page.
  2. Log in using your email address and password.
  3. When prompted for your authentication code, use your backup code if available.

Once logged in, you can reconfigure Two-Factor Authentication on your new device.

Option 2 - Restore Your Authenticator Application

Some authenticator applications support cloud backup and recovery.

If you have replaced your phone:

  • Install your authenticator application on the new device.
  • Restore from your cloud backup if supported.
  • Verify that your Snowtech Services account appears within the application.

Option 3 - Contact Snowtech Services Support

If you no longer have access to your authenticator application or backup codes, our support team can assist with the removal of Two-Factor Authentication from your account.

For security reasons, identity verification will be required before Two-Factor Authentication can be reset.

Identity Verification Requirements

To protect your account, we may request one or more of the following:

  • Verification of account ownership.
  • Confirmation of recent invoices or services.
  • Verification using the registered account email address.
  • Additional information to confirm your identity.
Important: Snowtech Services will never disable Two-Factor Authentication without first verifying the identity of the account holder.

Setting Up 2FA Again

Once access has been restored, we strongly recommend re-enabling Two-Factor Authentication immediately.

Refer to our article:

for step-by-step instructions.

Preventing Future Lockouts

To avoid future issues:

  • Store backup codes securely.
  • Enable cloud backup within your authenticator app if supported.
  • Keep your registered email address up to date.
  • Transfer authenticator accounts before replacing your device.
