Overview

This guide explains each configuration field in the Snowtech MPGS gateway module and how to set it correctly.

Where to Configure

  1. Go to System Settings → Payments → Payment Gateways
  2. Select Manage Existing Gateways
  3. Click MPGS (Mastercard Gateway)

Configuration Fields

License Key

Enter your Snowtech license key for this module. The module will display the current license status on the configuration screen.

Gateway Hostname

Enter your MPGS host without https:// and without any path.

  • Example: suncorp.gateway.mastercard.com

API Version

Most Suncorp MPGS setups use API version 100. If your bank advises a different version, use that value.

Merchant ID

Enter the Merchant ID supplied by your bank.

API Username (optional)

This field can be left blank. The module forces the correct username format automatically:

merchant.{MERCHANTID}

API Password

Enter the MPGS API Password supplied by your bank. This is not your portal login password.

Debug Logging

When enabled, the module will write sanitized request/response data to the WHMCS Gateway Log.

  • Enable for testing only
  • Disable in production

View logs at: Utilities → Logs → Gateway Log

Disable SSL Verification (NOT recommended)

This should remain OFF in production. Only enable temporarily for diagnostics if you have confirmed SSL interception or certificate chain issues.

Save Changes

Click Save Changes after updating any field.
