Not-for-profit entities include, for example, incorporated associations, companies limited by guarantee, non-distributing cooperatives and registered charities.
Your chosen .asn.au domain name must also be connected to your association. It must be:
- a match or acronym of its legal, business or statutory name, or of the name of the unincorporated association;
- a match of its Australian trade mark; or
- a match or synonym of the name of a service, program, event, activity, premises or members' occupation it provides at the time you apply.
.asn.au domain names cannot be registered solely to sell, lease or hold them to generate revenue, or solely to transfer them to someone else. You'll be asked for the relevant registrant and eligibility information during registration.
