How to Solve ‘Email Going to Spam’ Problems

If your legitimate emails keep ending up in spam folders, you’re not alone. Here’s how to improve deliverability and keep your messages in the inbox.
1. Authenticate Your Domain
Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
2. Avoid Spammy Content
Watch out for excessive caps, misleading subject lines, and too many links.
3. Clean Your Mailing Lists
Remove inactive or bounced addresses. Old lists hurt your sender score.
4. Monitor Blacklists
Check if your server’s IP is blacklisted using online tools.
5. Ask Customers to Whitelist You
Encourage users to add your address to their safe senders list.
Next Steps
If you’re not receiving emails at all, see our troubleshooting guide.
