Creating a Server Record

To add a new dedicated server:

  1. Open the Main tab.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Complete the required fields.
  4. Save the record.

Information Stored Per Server

Each server record can include:

  • Server name and physical location
  • Associated WHMCS client
  • Associated WHMCS product
  • Main IP and additional IP addresses
  • Operating system and control panel
  • CPU model, cache, and clock speed
  • RAM size and speed
  • Disk layout and RAID configuration
  • RAID controllers
  • Chassis brand, model, service tag, asset tag
  • Rack position
  • Switch port information
  • PDU and UPS mapping
  • Out-of-band access (iDRAC / DRAC / IPMI)
  • Root or management credential storage
  • Contract terms
  • Warranty expiry date
  • Internal operational notes

Client & Product Association

Servers can be linked to:

  • A WHMCS Client ID
  • A WHMCS Product/Service

This ensures physical infrastructure can be directly correlated to billing and service records.

Audit & Timestamping

All records are timestamped upon creation and update for auditing purposes.

No Automatic Provisioning

This module is an inventory and asset management tool only.

It does not automatically:

  • Connect to servers
  • Execute SSH commands
  • Provision operating systems
  • Modify live infrastructure
