This guide explains how to install and activate the Snowtech Dedicated Server Management addon within WHMCS.
System Requirements
- WHMCS 8.0 or newer
- PHP 8.1 / 8.2 / 8.3
- Valid Snowtech Services Licence Key
- Administrator access to WHMCS
Step 1 – Upload the Module Files
- Download the module package from Snowtech Services.
- Extract the ZIP file.
- Upload the folder to:
/modules/addons/dedicated_server_management/
Ensure the main module file is present:
dedicated_server_management.php /admin/ templates/
Step 2 – Activate the Module
- Login to WHMCS Admin.
- Navigate to System Settings → Addon Modules.
- Locate Dedicated Server Management.
- Click Activate.
Step 3 – Enter Your Licence Key
- Click Configure.
- Enter the Snowtech Services Licence Key.
- Click Save Changes.
The system will validate your licence against the Snowtech licensing server.
Licence Status
- Active – Full functionality enabled
- Invalid – Verify domain and key
- Expired – Licence renewal required
Step 4 – Assign Admin Role Permissions
Select which WHMCS Administrator Roles are permitted to access the module.
Only assigned administrators will see the module in the admin area.
Database Setup
Upon activation, the module automatically creates the required database table:
mod_ds_manage
This table stores all dedicated server asset records and timestamps for auditing.
Installation Complete. The module is now ready for use.
