Snowtech Services provides a self-service IP Unblock tool within the Client Area that allows eligible customers to check whether their IP address has been blocked by the server firewall and, where appropriate, remove the block without needing to contact support.
This feature is available on supported hosting services and can often resolve access issues immediately.
Common Signs Your IP Address May Be Blocked
You may have been blocked by the server firewall if:
- Your website suddenly becomes inaccessible from your location.
- cPanel or Webmail cannot be reached.
- FTP, SFTP or email connections stop working.
- You receive connection timeout errors.
- Other people can access the service while you cannot.
Firewall blocks commonly occur after multiple failed login attempts to services such as cPanel, Webmail, FTP or email.
Using the IP Unblock Tool
- Log in to the Snowtech Services Client Area.
- Navigate to Services > IP Unblock.
- Your current public IP address will be automatically detected.
- Click Check IP Status.
