If your CDN is not working properly, don’t worry — most issues are quick and easy to fix.
Check 1: Is Your Website Still Loading?
First, make sure your main website is working normally.
If your website is down, the CDN will not be able to load anything.
Check 2: Is Your Pull Zone Set Correctly?
Your Pull Zone should point to your website address.
Example:
If this is wrong, your CDN will not load your content.
Check 3: Are You Using the Correct CDN URL?
Make sure your website is using the correct CDN address:
- Default: yourzone.b-cdn.net
- Custom: cdn.yourdomain.com
If the wrong URL is used, files will not load.
Check 4: DNS Not Set Up Correctly (Custom Domain)
If you are using a custom domain (like cdn.yourdomain.com), check your DNS:
- Type: CNAME
- Points to: yourzone.b-cdn.net
DNS changes can take time to update (sometimes up to a few hours).
Check 5: SSL Not Enabled
If your site uses https://, your CDN must also have SSL enabled.
If SSL is not active, browsers may block content or show errors.
Check 6: Website Cache
Your website or browser may be showing old content.
Try:
- Refreshing the page (Ctrl + F5)
- Clearing your browser cache
- Clearing your website cache (if using caching plugins)
Check 7: Mixed Content Errors
If your website uses https but loads CDN files over http, they may be blocked.
Make sure your CDN URL starts with:
https://
Check 8: Firewall or Security Blocking
Some servers or security tools may block CDN requests.
If unsure, contact support and we can check this for you.
